The Gifts From the Ancestors Project is my personal love letter and memoir to Southwest Louisiana and the Heart of Acadiana. It is my hope that the cookbook project will foster greater interest and appreciation of Acadiana and the rich Creole Culinary Heritage. A major portion of the proceeds from the GTFA Project go to the Lawrence J. and Viola M. Raleigh Education Fund for African American women pursuing a post-secondary education in Food and Hospitality.
